Black Stars Team Manager and Dreams FC General Manager, Ameenu Shardow, has praised the current administration of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) for its efforts in improving the game despite recent criticisms and challenges.

In an interview with The BAC Sports, Shardow acknowledged that while Ghanaian football has faced its share of negative publicity, the sport remains appealing and continues to attract interest both locally and internationally.

Football still remains attractive even with the negative publicity it has had, he said.

He commended the GFA for strides made in infrastructure development, as well as in the professional training of key stakeholders in the football ecosystem.

The FA has also done well in infrastructure investment, and training of referees, coaches and administrators is going on well, Shardow noted.

Since assuming office, the current GFA leadership has undertaken several initiatives aimed at reviving Ghanaian football, including facility upgrades, capacity-building programs, and increased support for grassroots and women’s football.
