The two-legged encounter, scheduled for later this year, marks the beginning of Ghana’s bid for consecutive WAFCON appearances.
Egypt secured their place in this round after defeating Rwanda with a 3-2 aggregate victory in the first round of qualifiers.
Kim Lars Bjorkegren’s squad will be eager to build on their recent success, having already secured a spot in the 2025 WAFCON in Morocco under coach Nora Hauptle by overcoming Namibia in the previous qualifiers.
The second-round fixtures are set to take place between October 20 and 28, 2025. The 2026 WAFCON tournament will also be hosted in Morocco.
