Badminton has officially launched its highly anticipated 2025 Shuttle Time Coaching Program, drawing 48 passionate participants from all regions of the country.
From Zuarungu to Wa, Asesewa to Burma Camp, the initiative marks a major milestone in the association’s mission to make badminton more accessible and widespread by 2028.
The program, which kicked off on Friday 28th March, was met with enthusiasm as coaches, players, and stakeholders gathered for an engaging and dynamic opening session. The event showcased Ghana Badminton’s dedication to inclusivity, ensuring that the sport reaches every corner of the nation, regardless of geographical or social barriers.
Shuttle Time, a globally recognized development initiative, focuses on providing structured coaching programs and resources to promote the sport at the grassroots level. With a vision of expanding access to badminton in schools and local communities, Ghana Badminton’s latest effort aligns with international best practices to nurture future talents.
The launch event was filled with energy and optimism, as participants engaged in interactive sessions, skill-building exercises, and discussions on the future of badminton in Ghana.
