Ghana’s men’s 4x100m relay team has qualified for the 2025 World Athletics Championships in Tokyo after recording a season-best time of 38.32 seconds.
The team, comprising Barnabas Aggerh, Joseph Paul Amoah, Mustapha Alufar Bokpin, and Ibrahim Fuseini, secured second place in their heat at Day 2 of the Guangzhou Relays, finishing just behind France.
The French quartet of Pablo Mateo, Jeff Erius, Ryan Zeze, and Aymeric Priam edged Ghana with a time of 38.31 seconds.
A strong anchor leg from Ibrahim Fuseini sealed Ghana’s place at the global event set to take place later this year.
