The Black Damsels, Ghana’s U-15 girls’ team, have etched their names into history after defeating Uganda 2-0 to win the 2025 African Schools Football Championship on home soil.
Playing with determination and flair at the University of Ghana Sports stadium in Accra, the Ghanaian girls delivered a dominant performance to fulfill the popular mantra of “Host and Win.” Their impressive victory over Uganda not only earned them the coveted gold medal but also a $30,000 prize reward for their outstanding achievement.
They defeated South Africa in Semi Finals by three goals to two.
