Hearts of Oak Secure Back-to-Back Wins For the First Time This Season After Beating Vision FC

Hearts of Oak have secured their second consecutive win of the Ghana Premier League season, defeating Vision FC by a 1-0 scoreline.

The Phobians’ victory was sealed by a crucial goal from substitute Mawuli Wayo in the 49th minute.

Wayo, who joined Hearts from Bibiani Goldstars, has made an immediate impact, scoring his second goal for the club in as many games. His impressive performance earned him the Man of the Match award on the night.

The Phobians buoyed by the win in Tarkwa against Medeama last week, set the tone for this victory over a well drilled Vision FC side managed by Nana Kweku Agyemang.

This is the first time this season that Hearts have won two successive games.

Hearts of Oak head coach, Abubakar Ouattara, expressed his delight with the team’s recent form. “I’m very happy with the team’s performance,” he said. “We’ve been working hard, and it’s great to see the players responding positively. Mawuli has been a great addition to the squad, and his goals have been crucial for us.”

With this victory, Hearts of Oak have climbed to fourth position on the league table with 15 points, at least temporarily. The Phobians will be looking to build on this momentum and continue their upward trajectory in the league.
