Asante Kotoko have confirmed the signing of former Aduana Stars striker Isaac Mintah, making him their fourth acquisition during the second transfer window of the 2024/25 football season.

The 25-year-old has already participated in training sessions with the Kotoko team, enabling the technical staff to assess his abilities before finalizing the deal. He has agreed to a two-and-a-half-year contract following successful negotiations.

Mintah, a prolific striker, is expected to enhance Kotoko’s attacking options as the club looks to strengthen its squad for the remainder of the season. He joins the team alongside recent signings Kwame Opoku, Sampson Eduku, and young goalkeeper Benjamin Twum.

Mintah’s most recent stint was with Libyan side Al-Ahli, whom he joined in February 2024 after an impressive spell with Aduana Stars in the Ghana Premier League. During his time with Aduana, he scored 17 goals and provided 4 assists in 40 appearances.

He is likely to make his debut against newly promoted Vision FC this weekend in matchday 17 of the Ghana Premier League.
