The AFCON 2023 will mark the 34th edition of the prestigious African association football tournament, organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF). Ivory Coast will be hosting the tournament for the second time, with the last time being in 1984. The decision to postpone the tournament to 2024 was made by CAF on 3 July 2022, due to concerns over adverse summer weather conditions in Ivory Coast. Despite the postponement, the tournament will retain its original name for sponsorship purposes.

The AFCON 2023 will be hosted across six stadiums in five cities – Abidjan, Bouake, Korogho, San Pedro, and Yamoussoukro. With The BAC Sports providing comprehensive coverage of the tournament, football enthusiasts from all around the world can stay updated on all the action, drama, and excitement as the best teams from Africa compete for the prestigious title. The Chief Executive of The BAC Group, Dr. Ernest Koranteng noted that, “The BAC Sports is delighted about the opportunity the AFCON provides to undertake a first major coverage of an event.”

“The BAC Sports has only been churning out sports content across platforms for barely a month and the AFCON represents a massive opportunity to improve our presence and our team will be aggregating good content throughout the one month football event.” He added.
