Asante Kotoko head coach Abdul Karim Zito has made his intentions clear as the Ghana Premier League season nears its conclusion, his target is to win the league, and his team will fight until the very end.
Speaking after Kotoko’s 0-0 draw with Hearts of Oak at the Accra Sports Stadium, Zito remained confident about his side’s chances in the title race.
My target is to win the league, and we are going to fight till the last game, the Kotoko boss boldly declared.
Despite their recent struggles on the road, with the Porcupine Warriors now winless in eight consecutive away matches, Kotoko remain in the hunt, sitting 4th on the table with 51 points from 30 games.
With a few crucial fixtures remaining, Zito believes his team still has what it takes to push for the top spot.
