The Black Stars of Ghana are placed in Pot 1 for the draw of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.
Following the initial qualifiers earlier this year, everything is set for the main phase of the campaign to secure a spot in Morocco for the next continental event.
Today, CAF confirmed that the draw for the 2025 AFCON qualifiers will take place as scheduled in South Africa on Thursday, July 4.
Ahead of the draw, CAF posted on social media showing the Pot assignments for each country.
Four-time champions Ghana are in Pot 1.
Also in Pot 1 are defending champions Ivory Coast, Senegal, Morocco, Egypt, and Nigeria.
The remaining countries in that pot include Tunisia, Algeria, Cameroon, Mali, South Africa, and DR Congo.
