2025 Yachine Trophy: Yassine Bounou Among 10 Goalkeepers Nominated
The race for the 2025 Yachine Trophy—awarded to the best goalkeeper in the world—is heating up, as France Football has unveiled the ten nominees for this year’s edition.
Moroccan shot-stopper Yassine Bounou, currently with Al Hilal, is among the elite list following an outstanding season in both domestic and international competitions.
Joining him are top names including Alisson Becker (Liverpool), Gianluigi Donnarumma (PSG), David Raya (Arsenal), and Thibaut Courtois (Real Madrid), all recognized for their consistency and game-saving performances.
Also nominated are Lucas Chevalier (Lille/PSG), Yann Sommer (Inter Milan), Emiliano Martinez (Aston Villa), Jan Oblak (Atletico Madrid), and Matz Sels (Nottingham Forest).
The winner will be revealed during the Ballon d’Or ceremony in France later this October.
