Hearts of Oak Claim First Win of the Season in Tema
Accra Hearts of Oak picked up their first three points of the new league season with a 1–0 victory over Dreams FC at the Nii Adjei Okraku II Sports Stadium in Tema on Monday.
The Phobians struck early, with Mohammed Hussein finding the net in the 14th minute to register the decisive goal of the contest. Hearts then managed the game with discipline, ensuring the solitary strike was enough to secure the win.
The result was a welcome boost for new coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani, following last week’s opening-day draw against Hohoe United.
It also means Hearts remain unbeaten after two matches, giving their fans reason to be optimistic about the campaign ahead.
For Dreams FC, however, the defeat was a second consecutive setback, leaving them still searching for their first points of the season.
