Accra Great Olympics defeated title challengers, Aduana Stars in their match day 23 fixture at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Albert Amoah scored three times as Olympics beat Aduana 4-2.

Isaac Mensah opened the scoring for Great Olympics on the 19th minute of the game.

Albert Amoah scored two goals for Olympics in the space of seven minutes to put his side 3-0 up before Mumuni Zakaria pulled one back for the visitors just before the break to change the score to 3-1.

 

Amoah completed his hattrick on the 72nd minute after scoring his third goal of the day to restore Olympics’ three-goal advantage.

However, Aduana scored again on the 83rd minute to reduce the deficit to two.

This defeat leaves Aduana Stars with only a single win in their last four matches in the Ghana Premier League.

They seem to be losing more grounds in the title chase, falling 6 points behind leaders, Samartex and a point behind second placed, Nations FC who have played a game less.
