Ethan Mbappé (17), the younger brother of Kylian Mbappé has completed a permanent switch from Ligue 1 champions, Paris St. Germain to OGC Lille.
Ethan joins his brother, Kylian as one of the many players leaving PSG this summer.
Kylian Mbappé has already switched teams, joining Real Madrid this summer on a free transfer from PSG.
Ethan Mbappé has penned a three-year deal at Lille, hoping to continue his development.
“It’s a joy to be joining OGC Lille which is one of the big clubs here in France”, Ethan said after signing his Lille contract.
Ethan Mbappe joined PSG in 2017 as a 10-year-old and has spent the last seven years of his life at the French outfit. He made five appearances for the first team but was very much in the shadow of elder brother Kylian.
In a heartfelt message Ethan posted on social media about leaving PSG, he wrote, “with the soul of a child and a supporter from birth, I discovered you with eyes full of dreams. That was nearly seven years ago, and I had no idea that we would be living such an adventure together. It was the start of seven years of red and blue in my daily life and in my heart”.
“Seven years of encounters that have left an indelible mark on me. Seven years of priceless human and sporting memories. From the carefree days of childhood to my first steps as a professional, you laid the best foundations for the man and player I aspire to become. For everything you’ve given me, for all the wonderful people you’ve put in my path and for the way you’ve helped me grow, on behalf of my sincere love for you, I say thank you and goodbye”
