Former Liberty Professionals defender Samuel Sarfo has signed a one-year contract with Saudi Second Division team Najran Sport Club.

The 34-year old joined Najran after his contract with AL Taraji ended, beginning a new chapter in his career.

Over the last six years, he has proven his talent in the Gulf Region, including playing for Saudi Pro League side Al Khaleej amd Kuwait side, Al-Tadamon.

Najran Sport Club announced Sarfo’s signing, with club management, led by Mr. Hadi bin Hamad Al-Kulaib, expressing their excitement about his arrival.

“The management of the Najran club, headed by Mr. Hadi bin Hamad Al-Kulaib, has signed Ghanaian international defender Samuel Sarfo to join the first football team for the 2024-2025 season.”

Sarfo expressed his excitement and enthusiasm for the new opportunity, after completing the transfer.


“Thank you Holy Spirit.” He stated.

His experience and skills as a center-back will be vital as Najran aims for a strong performance in the upcoming 2024-2025 sports season.
