F.C. Samartex 1996 have left Ghana for Casablanca, Morocco, ahead of their highly anticipated second-leg clash in the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League against Raja Casablanca.

The team is set to face off against the Moroccan giants after a thrilling 2-2 draw in the first leg at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Samartex showed great resilience in the first leg, holding their own against Raja Casablanca, one of Africa’s most formidable clubs. Now, they travel to Morocco with the aim of securing a result that will see them advance to the group stages of the prestigious tournament for the first time in their history.

Emmanuel Mamah, the club’s forward, remains optimistic about their chances. Speaking ahead of the trip, Mamah expressed confidence in the team’s ability to pull off a positive result in Casablanca. “We are going there with determination and belief that we can make history for ourselves and for Ghana.
