Harry Kane and Kylian Mbappe Share Gerd Muller Trophy as Season’s Top Scorers

Harry Kane and Kylian Mbappe have both won the Gerd Muller Trophy, awarded to the season’s top goalscorers, after each netting 52 goals across all competitions.

With Mbappe absent from the Paris ceremony, Kane was presented the trophy solo, marking a milestone in his first season at Bayern Munich.

Kane, who joined Bayern from Tottenham in August 2023, expressed his gratitude to his new club, teammates, and staff.

“Thank you to my club Bayern Munich, all my staff, team-mates, for helping me score all the goals I scored,” he said, acknowledging their role in his success.

Receiving the award from Bayern legend Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, Kane was visibly moved by the honor. “It’s an honour to take this award from a club legend – thank you very much,” he remarked, noting the significance of the moment in his career.

Kane’s exceptional performance earned him a 10th-place finish in the Ballon d’Or standings, reflecting his impact both in Germany and internationally.
