The Black Stars are set to travel to Angola tomorrow (Wednesday) to play the first leg of their 2025 AFCON qualifiers.
Ghana will clash with the Palancas Negras of Angola on Friday, November 15 in a penultimate tie of the qualifiers, before concluding their campaign against Niger in Accra on November 18.
Black Stars currently sits third in Group F with two points from four games, while Angola and Sudan have twelve and seven points, respectively. The second-place finisher will secure a spot in the 2025 AFCON in Morocco.
Following last Thursday’s announcement of the squad for a double-header against Angola and Niger, The FA on Monday released the team’s itinerary ahead of the two fortune-defining games.
Going by the itinerary, the Black Stars will leave Accra tomorrow (Wednesday) after two training sessions at the nations Wembley – Accra Sports Stadium on Monday which is opened to the media and a closed-door session later today.
The team will have its final training session on Thursday in Luanda before trading blows with the Palancas Negras on Friday.
Meanwhile, with the two points that Ghana has accrued from four matches, the Black Stars are in a precarious situation – heretofore missing out on qualification, making these fixtures inconsequential for securing a spot in the tournament.
