Former Asante Kotoko assistant coach David Ocloo has taken on a new challenge as the head coach of Togolese Premier League side, AS OTR Lome, according to reports.
This move marks a significant step in Ocloo’s coaching career, as he brings his extensive experience and tactical acumen to the Togolese club.
Ocloo is highly respected for his innovative coaching techniques, which were instrumental in Asante Kotoko’s triumphant Ghana Premier League title-winning campaign during the 2021-22 season.
Additionally, his tenure as an assistant coach at Hearts of Oak saw him contribute significantly to the club’s success in domestic competitions.
Last week, Ocloo tendered his resignation as Kotoko’s assistant coach, a position he held under Prosper Ogum.
His decision to join AS OTR Lome signals his ambition to take on greater responsibilities and drive the Togolese club toward success.
AS OTR currently sits mid-table in the Togolese Premier League and is keen to climb the standings under Ocloo’s leadership.
With his proven track record and commitment to excellence, the management of AS OTR are optimistic about their team’s prospects for the rest of the season.
