Former Ghana Black Stars midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu has emphasized the importance of a well-structured management committee in the national football team.

Speaking on Sporty FM’s Sporty Drive, the ex-midfielder stated that “The Management Committee is a vital area for our national team,” highlighting the need for effective leadership and organization in Ghanaian football.

Agyemang-Badu also addressed Ghana’s failure to qualify for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), placing some responsibility on head coach Otto Addo and the Ghana Football Association (GFA). “Otto Addo and GFA must all take a share of the blame for failing to qualify Ghana to the AFCON,” he asserted.

His comments come amid ongoing discussions about the state of Ghanaian football, with many calling for reforms in leadership and decision-making structures.

As a former national team player, Agyemang-Badu’s insights add weight to the conversation about improving football administration in the country.
