The national football team of Chad, Les Sao, has arrived in Ghana ahead of their crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against the Black Stars on Friday, March 21.
The team landed at Kotoka International Airport, determined to put up a strong performance despite their struggles in the qualifiers.
Chad currently sits at the bottom of Group I, having lost all four of their matches, scoring just once while conceding nine goals. Their last performance in the world cup qualifier saw them suffer a 0:2 defeat to Comoros at home, but they remain hopeful of turning their campaign around.
Ghana, on the other hand, is in second place with nine points, level with group leaders Comoros but behind on goal difference. The Black Stars will be aiming for a victory to strengthen their chances of qualifying for the World Cup.
The match will take place at the Accra Sports Stadium where the Black Stars started their first training today with nine players.
