Aduana FC reappoint Romanian Coach Cioaba Aristica for His Third Stint
Aduana Football Club has officially announced the return of Romanian coach Cioaba Aristica as their new head coach in a bid to revive their struggling Ghana Premier League campaign.
The Dormaa-based club confirmed the appointment through a post on their official Facebook page stating, “Aristica is home. Welcome back, Cioaba.”
Aristica’s return comes on the heels of Aduana’s decision to part ways with Yaw Acheampong, whose tenure saw the team secure only two wins, six draws, and four losses in 12 league matches.
With just 12 points, the Fire Boys currently sit in 13th place on the league table, a far cry from their usual title-contending standards.
The experienced Romanian coach is no stranger to Aduana FC, having previously led the club during a on two different occasions, first in the 2011-12 season and in 2016.
His familiarity with the team and the league is expected to provide much-needed stability and expertise as Aduana embarks on a journey to climb the standings.
Aristica’s task will not be an easy one, but his tactical acumen and ability to motivate players could be pivotal in restoring Aduana FC’s competitive edge.
Fans and stakeholders will be hoping his return marks the beginning of a resurgence for the two-time league champions.
