Veteran Ghanaian football administrator and bankroller of King Faisal FC, Alhaji Karim Grusah, has made serious allegations against the Ghana Football Association (GFA) regarding financial dealings and the integrity of the Ghana Premier League.

Speaking on Sportybet FM, Grusah revealed that the GFA allegedly demanded a 50% kickback from the $100,000 the Black Stars Management Committee members received from the GFA, during the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

“When we received $100,000 from the World Cup, the GFA requested 50% as a kickback. Why should they demand such money from us?” Grusah questioned.

In addition to his financial accusations, Grusah advised newly appointed Sports Minister, Kofi Adams, to stay vigilant and well-informed if he intends to succeed in his role.

“If Kofi Adams wants to do well, he must put his ears on the ground and listen carefully to what is happening in Ghana football,” he stated.

Furthermore, Grusah made a bold claim that the GFA allegedly decides who wins the Ghana Premier League, raising concerns about the fairness of the competition.

“The truth is that the GFA determines who wins the Ghana Premier League. If they want you to win, you will win,”he alleged, insinuating that the league’s outcomes may not be purely based on merit.
