Exactly one week ago today — on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, The BAC Group brought Accra to life with the All Star Festival, assembling some of Ghana’s biggest names in football, media, entertainment, and civil society at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium for a day that will long be remembered.

The fourth edition of the All Star Festival lived up to its billing, delivering a perfect blend of football, cultural pride, and showbiz, as fans gathered to enjoy an experience that went far beyond just a football match.

The festival opened with a special launch session, followed by a colorful open bus ride through the streets of Accra, which created buzz and excitement across the capital. At the stadium, two curtain raiser matches — Legon (UG) vs UPSA and GH Media vs Entertainment Stars  set the tone, drawing massive attention from fans and viewers online and on the ground.

The highlight of the day was the main All Star Game, which saw the Southern Stars defeat the Northern Stars 2-1, with goals from Majid Ashimeru, Benjamin Tetteh, and Emmanuel Boateng. The pitch was graced by football icons like Thomas Partey, Jordan Ayew, Lauren Juul Hansen, Gideon Mensah, and Dancegod Lloyd, who all played crucial roles in delivering a show-stopping performance.

The festival’s success was powered by strong partnerships and support from corporate sponsors, fans, and stakeholders who believed in the vision that The All Star Festival is more than football, it’s a celebration of community, culture, and connection.

As memories from that exciting day continue to trend across platforms, The BAC Group and its partners are already setting sights on the next chapter, promising even bigger experiences in future editions.
