Black Stars Team Manager and Dreams FC General Manager, Ameenu Shardow, has stressed the need for a more collective and inclusive approach to reforming Ghanaian football.

Speaking in an interview with The BAC Sports, Shardow emphasized that while public support is essential, real change must be led by those actively involved in the football industry.

Collective effort is very important to make the changes we expect in our football, but the primary individuals to lead the change are those in the industry, he said.

Shardow highlighted the importance of broadening participation in decision-making processes, arguing that involving a wider range of voices can lead to better outcomes for the sport.

We should involve more people in making decisions concerning football in Ghana, he added.

His comments come amid growing calls for reform and greater transparency within the Ghana Football Association and its affiliated bodies. Stakeholders have increasingly pushed for more inclusive governance, improved infrastructure, and better long-term planning to restore Ghana’s reputation on the continental and global stage.
