Arsenal have stormed into the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League, eliminating Real Madrid with an emphatic 5-1 aggregate victory, continuing their unbeaten record against the Spanish giants in the competition.

Following a dominant 3-0 first-leg win at the Emirates Stadium, the Gunners finished the job in style with a 2-1 victory at the Santiago Bernabéu on a night to remember for Mikel Arteta’s side.

Bukayo Saka opened the scoring in the 65th minute, silencing the Madrid crowd before Vinícius Júnior responded almost instantly two minutes later. However, any hope of a Real Madrid comeback was dashed when Gabriel Martinelli pounced deep into stoppage time (90’+3) to seal a famous win and Arsenal’s place in the final four.

The result extends Real Madrid’s Champions League frustration against Arsenal, having now failed to beat the North London side in five consecutive meetings.

Arsenal’s fluid attack, composed defense, and tactical maturity have turned them into genuine contenders, and they will now face Paris Saint-Germain in what promises to be a blockbuster semi-final clash.
