Ghana’s U-20 national team, the Black Satellites, will commence camping on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, in Accra as part of their buildup for the upcoming U-20 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.
After a week-long break following their participation in a competitive three-nation invitational tournament in Rabat, Morocco, the team, under the guidance of head coach Desmond Ofei, is set to regroup. The tournament formed an important part of their early preparations and served as a valuable assessment for the technical team.
The squad will be based at the Erata Hotel in Accra, where they will undergo intense training sessions and tactical exercises. Additionally, several friendly matches have been scheduled to further sharpen the team ahead of the tournament, which will run from April 26 to May 18, 2025.
Ghana has been placed in a challenging Group A alongside Cote d’Ivoire, Tanzania, DR Congo, and a yet-to-be-confirmed UNIFFAC representative.
The Black Satellites are determined to reclaim their status as continental champions and secure their fifth U-20 AFCON title.
