The Black Stars have fallen in the latest FIFA Coca-Cola rankings, after not securing any wins during October’s international games. They have dropped from 70th to 73rd globally and currently rank 14th in Africa.

This decline follows their draw and loss against Sudan during the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Previously in September, they had also slipped to 70th place due to similar performances against Angola and Niger.

The four-time African champions are at risk of missing the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, remaining without a win in Group F of the qualifiers. Comoros, a group opponent for Ghana in the World Cup qualifiers, has made the most significant advancement, climbing ten spots globally.

Globally, Argentina maintains the top position, followed by France, Spain, England, and Brazil. In Africa, Morocco leads the rankings, with Senegal, Egypt, Nigeria, and Algeria following.

Ghana’s next matches in the Nations Cup qualifiers for Morocco 2025 will be against Angola and Niger.
