The Black Stars of Ghana held their second day of training on Tuesday, March 19, 2025, at the Accra Sports Stadium, with all 23 players present.
Head coach Otto Addo and his technical team supervised the session as the team intensified preparations for their upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Notable among the 23 players who trained were Mohammed Kudus, former captain Thomas Partey, current skipper Jordan Ayew, and Lawrence Agyekum, who was recently called up following Elisha Owusu’s injury.
The Black Stars are set to face Chad on Friday, March 21, at the Accra Sports Stadium before traveling to Morocco for their second qualifier against Madagascar on Monday, March 24. Both matches are crucial in Ghana’s bid to secure a spot at the 2026 World Cup.
Adding to the excitement of the session was the presence of Asamoah Gyan, Ghana’s all-time top scorer and former captain. His attendance served as a morale booster for the squad, as his experience and leadership continue to inspire the team.
