The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), has announced that the Super Eagles will engage the Black Stars in an international friendly during the upcoming international break.

This match holds particular significance as it will be the first meeting between the two teams since Ghana secured a spot atthe 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, defeating Nigeria in the process.

The longstanding footballing rivalry between these two West African giants always adds an extra layer of intensity to their meetings, making for an exciting spectacle that fans on both sides eagerly anticipate. With bragging rights and national pride at stake, the Black Stars will be looking to put on a strong showing and secure a morale-boosting victory.

In addition to the match against Nigeria, Ghana will also face Uganda on 26th March, just four days after their encounter with the Super Eagles on the 22nd.

The two games against Nigeria and Uganda will take place in Morocco

Meanwhile, the Black Stars are still in the process of seeking a new head coach, following the dismissal of Chris Hughton after the abysmal AFCON campaign in Cote d’Ivoire.
