Ghana’s U15 boys’ team secured the top spot in Group A with a commanding 3-0 win over Algeria in their final group stage match at the 2025 African Schools Football Championship, held Thursday evening at the Legon Sports Stadium.
The victory capped a flawless group stage run for the Black Comets, who won all three of their matches without conceding a goal. After previous wins against Uganda and South Africa, the team entered the clash with Algeria brimming with confidence and executed a composed, clinical performance.
Head coach Kwaku Danso praised his side’s progress, stating:
