Ghana Premier League side Dreams FC have announced the transfer of promising Ghana U20 midfielder Abdul Aziz Issah, to La Liga powerhouse FC Barcelona.

The 18-year-old completed his remarkable move on the summer transfer deadline, according to the club’s official statement.

The statement reads: “Dreams FC announces the transfer of Abdul Aziz Issah to Spanish giants FC Barcelona. The 18-year-old finalized his move on transfer deadline day.”

Aziz Issah will join the Barcelona Athletic team to further his development.

His impressive performances in the CAF Confederation and Ghana Premier League attracted interest from clubs across Europe and Africa.

Aziz played a crucial role in Dreams FC’s first CAF Confederation Cup campaign, scoring four goals and providing two assists in 10 games, becoming the joint top-scorer.

He also made a significant impact in the Ghana Premier League, scoring seven goals and providing eight assists in 24 matches.

He becomes the second Ghanaian player after Accra Lions’ David Oduro, to join FC Barcelona, straight from a Ghanaian club.
