Former Hearts of Oak striker Felix Baffoe has expressed concern over the current performance of his former club, urging the team to step up and reclaim the dominance they once had in Ghanaian football.

In an exclusive interview with The BAC Sports, Baffoe did not hold back in his assessment of the Phobians’ recent form.

Hearts of Oak are not playing as well as they used to, Baffoe stated. They need to improve on their performance.

The ex-forward, who featured for the Accra-based giants during some of their better years, said the current squad lacks the sharpness and consistency the club was once known for. He called on the players, coaching staff, and management to work harder and restore pride to the club’s rich legacy.

Baffoe’s criticism come at a time when Hearts of Oak have struggled with inconsistency in the Ghana Premier League, leaving supporters frustrated and calling for changes.

Hearts of currently sit 5th on the league with 40 points after 24 matches and have won only two of their last five matches in the Ghana premier league.

The phobians will play their next match against Vision FC on the 13th of April.
