Former Ghana Football Association (GFA) Vice President Fred Pappoe has cautioned the Black Stars to remain focused despite their good run over Chad and Madagascar in the latest World Cup qualifying matches.
Ghana currently sit at the top of the table with 15 points, inching closer to securing a spot at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Speaking on Sporty FM, Pappoe emphasized the importance of maintaining discipline and avoiding complacency.
Black Stars must stay focused and avoid complacency, as there are still mathematical possibilities of missing out on qualification. He warned.
The seasoned football administrator also highlighted the significance of Ghana’s next two fixtures.
“The next six points are crucial for Black Stars’ 2026 World Cup qualification,” he stated, underlining the need for the team to approach the remaining matches with determination and a winning mentality.
