Black Stars Management Committee member, Frederick Acheampong has voiced his support for Andre Ayew’s inclusion in Ghana’s upcoming World cup qualifiers.

Speaking on Asempa FM, Fred Acheampong praised Ayew’s dedication and experience, stating that the veteran forward remains an asset to the national team if the coach deems him necessary.

Ayew is one of the Black Stars’ most committed players. If he is playing top-level football in France and the coach needs him, why not? He has always shown commitment whenever given the opportunity. Acheampong said.

Ayew, currently playing for Le Havre in the French League 1, has been a key figure for Ghana over the years, serving as captain and making significant contributions in major tournaments. His leadership and experience could prove crucial as Ghana prepares for their upcoming matches.

The Black Stars are set to face Chad and Madagascar in their next World cup qualifying fixtures later this month.

Coach Otto Addo is yet to announce the official squad for these crucial encounters, but Ayew’s potential inclusion remains a topic of discussion among Ghanaian.
