The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has charged Dr. Papa Kwesi Ndoum with multiple breaches of its regulations following the Access Bank Division One League match between Elmina Sharks and Swedru All Blacks at the Dr. Ndoum Sports Complex.

Dr. Ndoum is accused of unlawfully entering the field of play to protest a penalty decision, interfering with the match’s progress. He is also alleged to have incited Elmina Sharks’ players, officials, and fans against the match referees.

Additionally, the GFA claims he used social media to further incite hostility toward match officials.

The GFA considers these actions as misconduct, which allegedly contributed to violence against the match officials and brought the game into disrepute.

Dr. Ndoum has until Wednesday, February 19, 2025, to respond to the charges.
