GFA Confirms Media Coverage for 31st Ordinary Congress on August 12
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has dismissed reports suggesting that its 31st Ordinary Congress will be held behind closed doors, confirming that the event will be streamed live across all official GFA platforms.
Set for Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at the E.T. Mensah Hall of the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram, the annual gathering will begin at 11:00 a.m.
The FA says the live broadcast aligns with global best practices, ensuring fans and stakeholders can follow proceedings in real time.
A post-Congress press conference will also be held, offering journalists the opportunity to ask questions and receive a detailed update on the day’s deliberations.
According to the GFA, all 124 Members of Congress have registered their delegates for the event, which will bring together key figures in Ghanaian football to deliberate on the sport’s future.
