Ghana Football Association (GFA) President Kurt Okraku, accompanied by members of the Executive Council and Regional Football Association (RFA) chairmen, paid a courtesy visit to the Minister of Sports and Recreation, Hon. Kofi Adams, on Monday.
The meeting aimed to strengthen collaboration between the GFA and the ministry while addressing key issues concerning football development in Ghana.
During the visit, Okraku introduced the Executive Council members and RFA chairmen, extending congratulations to the minister on his appointment.
We are committed to working alongside the Sports Ministry to advance Ghanaian football,” Okraku stated. “This meeting reinforces our dedication to partnering with the government to ensure the sustainable growth of the sport.
Okraku also briefed the minister on the GFA’s ongoing initiatives and presented copies of the GFA and CAF statutes. Discussions focused on improving football infrastructure, enhancing grassroots development, and strengthening league structures.
In response, Minister Kofi Adams reaffirmed his readiness to collaborate with the GFA in advancing football at all levels. The meeting marks a renewed commitment between both entities to work towards the shared goal of elevating football in Ghana.
