Ghana Football Association (GFA) President, Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku, has arrived in Cairo, Egypt, leading a three-man delegation to the 14th Extraordinary General Assembly of the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
Accompanying him are GFA Vice-President Mark Addo and General Secretary Prosper Harrison Addo Esq.
As part of his engagements, Simeon-Okraku will chair the WAFU B Zonal meeting on Monday, March 10, with CAF President Dr. Patrice Motsepe and General Secretary Véron Mosengo-Omba in attendance. Mark Addo and Prosper Harrison Addo will also participate in the meeting.
Following the zonal meetings, CAF officials and African football legends will take part in a friendly match in the evening. On Tuesday, March 11, the CAF Executive Committee (EXCO) will convene to discuss the progress and future of African football.
The 14th CAF Extraordinary General Assembly will officially take place on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at the Marriott Mena House in Cairo, starting at 10:00 AM Cairo Time (08:00 AM GMT).
The event will conclude with a press conference addressed by CAF President Dr. Motsepe.
The three-day gathering, beginning on March 10, brings together key African football figures, including presidents of CAF’s 54 Member Associations, its six Zonal Unions, and senior international football stakeholders.
