The Ghana Football Association (GFA) is set to implement a minimum wage structure for players in the Ghana Premier League, following approval by its Executive Council (EXCO).
GFA Communications Director, Henry Asante Twum, announced the move during an interview on Starr FM’s Starr Sports Digest, emphasizing that the initiative is part of broader efforts to improve player welfare, raise league standards, and reduce player migration abroad.
