Ghana’s U-15 boys team wrapped up their 2025 CAF African Schools Football Championship (ASFC) journey on a high note, coming from behind to defeat Uganda 2-1 and secure the bronze medal.

Led by coach Kwaku Danso, the young squad showed resilience after trailing at halftime during Saturday’s third-place playoff at the University of Ghana Stadium.

Ghana staged an impressive second-half comeback, netting twice to earn their first-ever medal in the tournament’s history.

This year marked Ghana’s debut at the ASFC, having missed the previous two editions.

For their third-place finish, the Black Comets will receive $150,000 in prize money.
