Accra Hearts of Oak beat Berekum Chelsea comfortably to return to winning ways.

They secured the much-needed win in their quest to climb the Ghana Premier League table, defeating Berekum Chelsea 3-0 at the Golden City Park in Berekum on Wednesday afternoon.

The Phobians dominated much of the game, scoring the opener in the 20th minutes. Hamzah Issah continued his impressive goalscoring form, netting his 12th of the season in the victory.

Linda Mtange and Kassim Cisse also got on the scoresheet to seal the win for Hearts of Oak.

The victory marks a significant turnaround for the Phobians, who had been languishing in 13th position prior to the match.

This vital result sees the Accra-based club, climb two places in the table, moving from 13th to 11th position.

This dominant performance will be a major confidence boost for Hearts of Oak as they look to climb further up the table.

Also, it marks a return to winning ways for the Phobians after suffering a run of 6 games without a victory (5 losses, 1 win).

Coach Abubakar Ouattara, who has come under pressure in recent weeks, will be hoping his side can build on this momentum and push for a strong finish to the Ghana Premier League.

Hearts of Oak will take on Aduana Stars in their next game at home on May, 18th.
