Hearts of Oak Confirm the Signing of Abdul Karim from Nations FC
Accra Hearts of Oak have officially confirmed the signing of midfielder Abdul Karim on a two-year deal from Nations FC.
Karim was a key figure in Nations FC’s impressive campaign last season, where his tireless performances in midfield helped the Kumasi-based side mount a strong push for the Ghana Premier League title—a battle that slipped away only in the dying embers of the season.
Known for his work rate, tough tackling, and ability to break up play, Karim’s qualities are expected to bring steel and balance to the Phobians’ midfield.
His performances earned him a national team call up, being named among the Black Galaxies squad, although they failed to qualify for the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN) after falling to Nigeria in the qualifying round.
His arrival also adds depth to the squad as Hearts of Oak rebuild and look to reclaim the Ghana Premier League crown.
