Ghana Premier League side, Hearts of Oak, have confirmed the transfer of young talent Saani Mohammed to Danish second-tier club AC Horsens during the ongoing January transfer window.

In an official statement on X, the club expressed their gratitude:

“Thank you, Saani Mohammed! 🙌

We announce the transfer of Saani Mohammed to AC Horsens. Your contributions have been invaluable, and we’re proud to have been part of your development. Wishing you the very best in your new chapter!”

The 18-year-old midfielder joined the ‘Phobians’ at the start of the current season from second-division side Soccer 4 Souls FC. Since his arrival, he has delivered outstanding performances, with a highlight being his two remarkable assists in Hearts of Oak’s crucial away victory against Young Apostles.

Now embarking on his dream move to AC Horsens, Mohammed will aim to adapt quickly, make an impact, and become a fan favorite at the CASA Arena.

AC Horsens currently sit fourth in the Danish NordicBet Liga standings with 31 points, positioning themselves strongly after the first phase of the season.

Saani joins the Danish outfit as the third Ghanaian player, after Kwaku Karikari and Abdul Moro.
