Ghana Football Association (GFA) President Kurt Okraku has urged Ghanaians to throw their full support behind the Black Stars as they prepare for crucial FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Madagascar.
Speaking via Sporty FM, Okraku expressed confidence that with the right backing from the nation, the team will deliver positive results.
“If we show the Black Stars love and support, they’ll win the games against Chad and Madagascar,” he stated, emphasizing the importance of national unity in boosting the team’s morale.
The Black Stars will kick off their campaign against Chad at the Accra Sports Stadium before traveling to Morocco to take on Madagascar. These matches come at a critical time for the team, which has been struggling with form after failing to qualify for the next Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco.
Their recent performances have raised concerns among fans, with many questioning the squad’s preparedness for international competitions.
Despite the skepticism, Okraku remains optimistic that the team can turn things around. The GFA president’s rallying call comes as the players and technical team intensify preparations, hoping to restore faith in Ghanaian football.
