Asante Kotoko SC will represent Ghana in the Capital City Africa Cup in Washington DC, USA, this October.
The Porcupine Warriors will compete against Major League Soccer (MLS) team DC United in a much-anticipated friendly on October 12th at the Audi Field.
This match is part of Ghana Week DC 2024, an event organized by the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) in partnership with the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
The meeting between these clubs aims to enhance the celebration of Ghanaian culture in the US capital.
Kotoko earned this match by defeating Hearts of Oak 2-1, in the Democracy Cup, at the Accra Sports Stadium.
This will be the second time a Ghanaian Premier League side, will be playing against DC United, after Medeama SC lost 2-1 agaisnt MLS side, last year.
