Hearts of Oak midfielder Kwesi Asmah has expressed confidence that the club will mount a serious challenge for the Ghana Premier League title next season, citing growing team chemistry and better player understanding as key factors.

In an interview with Original FM, the former Na God FC star acknowledged the challenges the Phobians have faced this season, largely due to the influx of new players and the time needed for them to fully settle and adapt to the club’s system.

There are a lot of new players in the team this season and therefore adaptation has been a major problem, Asmah revealed.

But we will compete to win the Ghana Premier League next season because the understanding and chemistry of the players will be strong.

Despite a mixed campaign in the current season, Asmah believes that with time, the squad will gel properly and position themselves as strong title contenders.
