Ghana has dropped from 67th to 68th in the world, after being over taken by United Arab Emirates (UAE) but maintains the 14th position in Africa.
A poor showing at the AFCON, coupled with defeat to Nigeria and a draw with Uganda in the recent international friendlies culminated to this drop in the global rankings.
Morocco, Senegal, Nigeria, Egypt, Cote d’Ivoire, Tunisia, Algeria, Mali, Cameroon, and South Africa complete the top 10 on the continent.
While Argentina, France, Belgium, England, and Brazil complete the top five in the latest ranking.
