Nsoatreman Football Club has officially withdrawn from the ongoing 2024/2025 Ghana Premier League, citing escalating safety and security concerns for its players.

In an official letter addressed to the Ghana Football Association (GFA), the club described the recent incidents that prompted this tough decision—particularly during high-profile matches against Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Samatex FC.

According to the club’s management, despite efforts to address the issues, the safety of Nsoatreman FC’s players could no longer be guaranteed. This prompted the board of directors to take the drastic measure of pulling out of the league entirely, expressing hope that their withdrawal would draw attention to the security challenges that continue to plague Ghanaian football.

At the time of their exit, the 2024 MTN FA Cup champions stood in 14th position on the league log with 20 points—sitting ahead of Dreams FC, Karela, Legon Cities, and Accra Lions.
