Ivory Coast international Odilon Kossounou has officially completed a permanent move to Atalanta from German side Bayer Leverkusen for a reported fee of €20 million.

The 24-year-old defender initially joined the Serie A club on loan but impressed the Bergamo-based side enough to secure a full transfer ahead of the 2024/25 season. His consistent performances in the backline were crucial during Atalanta’s recent campaign, earning him praise across Europe.

Beyond the pitch, Kossounou is now turning his attention to Africa where he has been confirmed as the international guest for the fourth edition of the All-Star Festival, set for Wednesday, 18th June 2025, at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.

The event, themed “The Stars Are Coming to the Community,” brings together top football stars, media personalities, entertainers, and influencers for a day of celebration, culture, and sport.

Kossounou joins a stellar lineup that includes Ghana’s own Thomas Partey, Samuel Owusu, and other football icons, as well as media figures like Nana Aba Anamoah, Bola Ray, Abeiku Santana, and entertainers such as Keche, Clemento Suarez, and Black Sherif.
